Healthy and Yummy Starters (India Network)

Spinach (palak) is one of the high nutritional leafy vegetable. It has in it Vitamin A - 52%, Folate (Vit B9) - 49%, Vit C - 47%, Vit E - 13%,Vitamin K - 460%,Calcium - 10%,Iron - 22% . Spinach is very healthy vegetable but children like him less. To convince your children you can always show them video of a famous character "Popeye, the sailor" In the serial, to regain the energy the character Popeye used to have the raw Spinach (palak) which would be very difficult for your kid to have it alone. Here we give you the recipe of one of the Spinach dish that is "HARA BHAR KABAB"

Please don't go on the name it is a pure vegetarian item which can be cook fast as well as healthy, tasty and yummy starters or snack for your child.

This recipe could be easily cooked in few minutes and ready to be served instantly.
Ingredients required for cooking:

1)Boiled Spinach leaves (Palak) leaves (2 cups)
2)Boiled potatoes (5-6 piece)
3)Bread Slice (7-8)
4)Oil
5)Paste of Green Chilly & Ginger
6)Coriander leaves
7)Salt as per the taste
8)? tsp Garam Masala,
9)? tsp Amchur powder or Lemon (on availability)
10)? tsp Sugar


Method

1)Boil Spinach (palak)and remove all the water and make the paste.
2)Boil potatoes and smash it
3)Grind the bread in mixture
4)In one bowl, mix Spinach, palak, potatoes then
5)Then add all the masala, like paste of green chilly & ginger, salt , gram Masala, Amchur powder & sugar.
6)Mix all the items slowly and properly.
7) Roll each kabab into small balls or the shape you want.
8)Take a deep fry pan, heat the Oil and deep fry the kabab till it become golden brown.

Healthy and yummy food is ready to serve. Do serve it with the tomato sauce,red or green chutney or with schezwan sauce to make your starter Hara Bhara Kabab more delicious.

A Cooking Recipe With A Yummy Oriental Taste (rajiv tiwari)

All of us love to try out different recipes for a tasty meal. This yummy cooking recipe is bound to satisfy your taste buds and leave you wanting more!

Ingredients:

* 6 dried shiitake mushrooms
* 12 ounces bean thread noodles
* A bunch of spinach
* 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon Asian toasted sesame oil
* ? teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
* ? pound chicken steak, sliced into ? inch slices
* 1/3 cup soy sauce
* ? onion
* 1 carrot, grates
* 3 scallions, chopped well
* ? cup sugar
* Toasted sesame seeds

Directions:

1. Start cooking your tasty recipe by getting the mushrooms back. Put them in a separate bowl, cover it with hot water and keep aside for later in the cooking recipe.

2. The next step is to cook the noodles in a large pot of boiling water according to the package directions. Make sure you cook it well for the recipe or it won't taste nearly as good.

3. Pull them out put into a colander and rinse them very well under cold running water for a perfect and consistent recipe.

4. In that same pot of boiling water, blanch the spinach till it turns a bright green which should happen instantly. Drain it out and rinse it under cold water for later in the recipe.


5. Gather it into one mass and squeeze all the moisture out of it. Cut the mass once in half and put it in a small bowl. Add to the spinach half the garlic, a teaspoon of the sesame oil, and the salt and keep it aside for the recipe.

6. Drain out the ready shiitake mushrooms and slice.

7. Heat the oil in a large pan over a medium to high flame and put in the chicken, a spoonful of the soy sauce and all the remaining garlic. Stir-fry the recipe until the chicken is well cooked.

8. Add the onion, carrot, and the mushrooms to the pan and stir the recipe well. Cook until the onion is translucent and then add the scallions, stir-frying for another minute. Your recipe is almost done!

9. In a separate bown, combine the noodles, the spinach, the chicken mixture, the remaining soy sauce, the remaining sesame oil and the sugar. Make sure you toss the entire recipe well, using clean hands if required.

10. Your delicious noodle recipe is ready to be enjoyed by all!

A Yummy Pasta Recipe With Gnocchi (rajiv tiwari)

Making gnocchi means you can make one of the most delicious and unique pasta recipes of today. Try out this pasta recipe and keep craving more.

Ingredients:

* ? pound baking potatoes
* Salt to taste
* 1 big egg, beaten
* 1 cup all-purpose flour, plus a little more

Directions:

1. To start with making gnocchi for your pasta recipe, put the potatoes in water and boil until nice tender when poked. Make sure they're not overcooked and their skins split for a nice pasta recipe. Drain.

2. Pour in the beaten egg over the potatoes gently and add 1 cup of the flour.

3. Get the mixture together and knead. Keep adding a little more flour if necessary to make the dough hold together. Make sure you don't knead too much as you'll keep needing more flour and the pasta recipe will become very heavy. For a light and tasty pasta recipe you need to slice the dough and examine the texture well. The dough for the pasta recipe should look like cookie dough and have a lot of small holes.

4. Cut the gnocchi for the pasta recipe into small sizes. Place it, cut side down, on the tines of a fork. Then flour your thumb slightly and press into the gnocchi, at the same time pushing it off the end of the fork and onto a floured board. The gnocchi should have an indentation where your thumb was and ridges from the fork tines on the other side.


5. Repeat with all the remaining pieces and cover the gnocchi with a clean towel. You can either keep it aside for a pasta recipe later by freezing it. Or you can cook it right now.

6. To make the pasta recipe right now, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

7. Put in the gnocchi, 5 or 6 at a time, into the boiling water. Make sure they don't stick.

8. Cook the gnocchi until they plump up and float to the surface for a perfect pasta recipe

9. Drop them gently from your strainer into the sauce you wish to make your pasta recipe with.

10. Your meal is ready!
